The Devoe L. Moore University Center is the large brick structure surrounding Doak Campbell Football Stadium. But this complex is much more than just a football venue; it's a central hub for academics, administration, and student resources. The University Center has four buildings.
University Center A includes administrative offices like Admissions, Financial Aid, and Registrar as well as the Office of Undergraduate Studies and the College of Motion Picture Arts. University Center B hosts the Visitor Center, the Dedman School of Hospitality, and the Champions Club and the Seminole Sportshop. University Center C houses the College of Social Work, the College of Communication & Information, and support services like the FSU Testing Center. University Center D, also known as the Coyle Moore Athletic Center, features athletic facilities, academic support for student-athletes, and dining options.
Whether you're going to class, meeting with an advisor, or cheering on the Seminoles, you'll feel connected to the FSU community here.

💰 Office of Financial Aid
Florida State University is recognized as one of the best value colleges in the nation. The Princeton Review named FSU the No. 16 Best Value College among public universities, by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges 2024. FSU's continued upward trajectory in these rankings reflects our commitment to high standards of academic excellence and our dedication to affordability, accessibility, and success for all of our students.
FSU consistently delivers an affordable (financialaid.fsu.edu), high quality education. We offer many resources to help students navigate the financial aid process and all admitted students are automatically considered for one of our merit-based scholarships.
📝 Office of Admissions
First-Year Students
Students applying to Florida State directly from high school are classified as first-year students. Our office follows a regular admission model, meaning all students must submit their application and application materials by a specific date. The admissions office will then review all the applications submitted by the deadline and send out admissions decisions on designated day. First-Year admission is a holistic and selective process, and no single criterion guarantees admission.
Transfer Students
Each year, we enroll approximately 3,000 transfer students. The majority of our students come to us from the Florida College System, and most will have completed their Associate in Arts degree. However, we accept transfer students from all nationally accredited institutions at all levels. Students must complete 12 or more college credits after high school graduation to be considered a transfer student.
Transfer admission is a holistic and selective process, and no single criterion guarantees admission.
