Floyd Campus Walraven Building

The Walraven building includes multipurpose classrooms and the advising area. The building is named for one of GHC's first deans, Dr. Wesley Walraven. The front hallway houses the IT suite, including the help desk where you can have all of your email and connectivity questions answered. The rear hallway, which runs parallel to the front hallway, houses the natural science labs and classes. All of our labs have recently been renovated to ensure a state-of-the-art environment. The labs for biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and geology are located in this area. Halfway down the hallway you will find the home of the Human Services program. There are also several classrooms tucked away throughout the building for general studies classes and at the far end of the hall you will find a large tiered lecture room, used for classes and special lectures. Directly across from this classroom are faculty offices for the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. That is it for the tour of the Walraven Building. Now let’s move over to the campus library.
