Bey and Pozycki Halls are home to Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School (LHBS) and are connected by the Arthur M. Greenbaum Bridge on the second floor. Bey Hall includes a mix of traditional and seminar-style classrooms, in addition to our Byer Financial Market Labs, Young Auditorium, and the Turrell Boardroom. While Pozycki Hall houses the Kislak Real Estate Institute and includes faculty offices, common areas, classrooms, conferences rooms, a lecture hall, and an exterior terrace.

🧑💼 Leon Hess Business School
The Leon Hess Business School (LHBS) holds prestigious accreditation from AACSB International—the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. It houses the Center of Entrepreneurship and the Kislak Real Estate Institute, providing students with a robust foundation in business education. Small class sizes foster innovative thinking and leadership development, complemented by a diverse range of concentrations such as accounting, economics, finance, international business, marketing, and real estate. LHBS also offers a unique five-year program for qualified students to earn both their B.S. and M.B.A.
Department of Accounting
The mission of the Department of Accounting is to prepare students for careers in public, private industry, and governmental and not-for-profit organizations. The department encourages and supports dynamic interaction between faculty and students. Faculty members contribute as leaders in the profession through research and community activities.
Department of Economics, Finance, and Real Estate
Economics, finance, and real estate provide a strong foundation for graduate work in economics, finance, and law, as well as careers in government, commercial and investment banking, corporate finance, insurance, commercial real estate, medical services, human resources, international trade, and labor relations. Concentrations are offered in Economics, Economics and Finance, Finance, Finance and Real Estate, and Real Estate.
Department of Management and Leadership
The management curriculum is hands on and practice based, with courses that include simulations and team-based projects that mirror actual scenarios in the workplace involving employee relations and strategic decision-making. Many of our courses directly engage students with the local business community. Concentrations are offered in Leadership and Organizational Development, Operations, Supply Chain and Data Management, and Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
Department of Marketing and International Business
Business is increasingly becoming global. As a result, being able to reach people from around the world is crucial. The Department of Marketing and International Business recognizes this need and addresses it through concentrations in International Business, Marketing, and Marketing and Management.

The Tom Byer '67 and Susie Byer Financial Markets Lab, located on the first floor of Bey Hall, offers students hands-on experience analyzing real-time market and financial data, using state-of-the-art technology and techniques employed by Wall Street professionals.
👔 Center for Entrepreneurship
The Center for Entrepreneurship empowers students to engage and develop their ideas with organizations in the private sector. Students gain hands-on experience in a business-like environment, facilitating the launch of several successful enterprises during and after college. The center provides personalized coaching, mentorship, business resources, and diverse learning opportunities.
💼 Department of Political Science and Sociology
Political Science and Sociology faculty offices are located in Bey Hall. You can engage your intellectual curiosity and fuel your passion for civic engagement as you analyze societal systems, institutions, and relationships through our political science and sociology programs.
Debate Team
The Debate Team has approximately 40 members; participating in debate is a great way to make new friends while honing transferable skills to careers in law, politics, business, and education. The Debate Team has won numerous awards and competes domestically and internationally, including in England and India.
Model UN Team
The team has traveled to and won awards at such places as the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City and competed in London, England and Zurich, Switzerland and many more. In doing so, the team was successful in accumulating several awards for their position papers, resolution writing, and diplomatic skills.
Pre-Law
Monmouth’s Pre-Law Club serves as the central information clearinghouse for all students interested in attending law school and learning more about the legal profession. The club meets regularly throughout the year and facilitates numerous law-related events, such as guest speakers, Monmouth alumni, and law student roundtables and visits from law school representatives. Meetings cover a range of topics, including ways to best prepare students for law school.
