The OceanFirst Bank Center hosts concerts, trade shows, special events, and serves as the home base for Monmouth University’s Division I athletic teams. At the OceanFirst Bank Center you get a big school vibe in a perfectly sized area – close to the action. The Center includes facilities such as Gaffney Court, a bowling alley, indoor track, fitness center, and pool. Additionally, the OceanFirst Bank Center provides educational and conference space, locker rooms, and other athletics fixtures, including the Leon Hess Champions’ Hall, the Hall of Fame, and the University Store.

🏅 Fitness Center
The Fitness Center provides a wide range of services and facilities for Monmouth University students, employees, and community members. It includes a well-equipped weight-lifting room with free weights and resistance machines, along with treadmills, cross trainers, and stationary bikes. The center is also home to the pool, indoor basketball courts, and outdoor and indoor tracks. Free fitness classes are available for students. The fitness class schedule and information on fitness center machine availability can be accessed through the Experience Monmouth App.
Indoor Track
The 200-meter, six-lane indoor track is used for training and competing all year long. Students do have access to the track when it is not in use by the athletic teams.
🏊️ Richard E. Steadman Natatorium
The natatorium is home to Monmouth’s men’s and women’s swim teams. The facility features a six lane, 25-yard pool and can approximately seat 250 spectators. Students have access to the natatorium when it is not in use by the athletic teams.
🎳 Ciniello Family Bowling Center
The four-lane bowling center, located inside Boylan Gymnasium, serves as the on-campus practice facility for the women’s bowling program. Students also have access to the center for intramural and recreational use.
🏀 Dr. Marilyn A. McNeil Arena
The 4,100-seat arena is home to the Hawks men’s and women’s basketball teams. The court has hosted several high-profile Division I opponents, as well as state and local high school basketball tournaments, featuring some of the top talent in the country.
🎙️ Parton Broadcasting Center
The Parton Broadcasting Center is a state-of-the-art control room dedicated to producing live broadcasts of Monmouth University’s Division I sporting events. Located on the second floor of the OceanFirst Bank Center, the center is home to the Monmouth Digital Network—a production team primarily composed of students.
🌟 Hall of Fame Lounge
The Hall of Fame Lounge, situated on the second floor of the OceanFirst Bank Center, honors notable athletes who have played at Monmouth University. Among them are three-time Olympic gold medalist and captain of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, Christie Pearce Rampone, and former All-Pro NFL Wide Receiver Miles Austin.
🌆 Leon Hess Champions’ Hall
The Leon Hess Champions’ Hall is located on the second floor of the OceanFirst Bank Center. It serves as a venue for various athletic events, ceremonies, and gatherings.
🏬 University Store
The University Store is located on the first floor of the OceanFirst Bank Center, right outside of the box office. Students can purchase, rent, or sell their textbooks, in addition to Monmouth-branded merchandise.
🦅 The Hawk at Brockriede Common
The Hawk statue, located right outside of the OceanFirst Bank Center, stands at 15-feet high, with a 22-foot wingspan, is a popular spot for photos. The impressive statue was created by acclaimed sculptor and alumnus, Brian Hanlon.
