This tranquil location on campus is dedicated to Pepperdine's hero, Thomas Burnett Jr, who was one of the passengers to regain control of United 93 flight on 9/11. Burnett and his fellow passengers prevented further attacks by bringing the plane down into a Pennsylvania field.
