Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs

The Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI) at Rutgers University–Camden conducts research that informs public policy and addresses challenges in Southern New Jersey. Established in 2000 in honor of State Senator Walter Rand, WRI has been a trusted resource for over 25 years, working across sectors such as workforce development, education, transportation, and public health.
