Respiratory Care
Offered at SPC Reese Center.
A Respiratory therapist, also known as a respiratory care practitioner, is the health profession responsible for evaluating, treating and caring for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Practicing under the direction of a physician, respiratory therapists assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedure!

This program is designed to prepare students for a career in Emergency Medical Services. The multiple-entry/multiple-exit program prepares students for all levels of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.

Surgical technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients in a variety of settings. This individual works under the supervision of a surgeon to ensure that the operating room or surgical environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety!

Child Development
Offered at the SPC Reese Center.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Training Certificate is designed to prepare individuals for assessment by the National Council for Professional Recognition. Students who successfully complete training/education, work requirements and the final assessment process will earn a CDA Credential, which is recognized nationally in the field of early childhood development.
Credentials may be earned in the areas of infant/toddler, preschool, family child care, and home visitor, with a bilingual specialization also available!

A sterile processing technician cleans and sterilizes used surgical instruments and other medical supplies. The Sterile Processing Technician Program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills required to work as a sterile processing technician. The program will prepare students to clean, disinfect, and distribute sterilized instrumentation and equipment to various areas of the healthcare facility.
