Welcome to the Village, the newest residential community on the University of South Florida Tampa campus! It’s comprised of five buildings offering traditional and suite style units. Since everything is in one place, we highly recommend this community for first-year students.
This community is only steps away from:
➡️ The Hub dining hall
➡️ The Fit recreation and wellness facility
➡️ Publix, our on-campus grocery store
🌟 Explore the Village 🌟
While you're on campus, stop by Starbucks and BurgerFi in Pinnacle Hall! These locations are open to the public, so you can grab a drink or snack as you make your way through the rest of your tour. Although residence halls in the Village are only open to the students who live there, you can learn more about housing options at the Housing and Residential Education Office later in the tour.

Housing Options
We offer traditional, suite and apartment-style housing across 15 different residential communities on campus. Here’s a breakdown of the styles:
➡️ Traditional-style housing: you’ll share a bedroom with a roommate and a community bathroom with your floormates.
➡️ Suite-style housing: you’ll share bathrooms only with your roommates or suite-mates.
➡️ Apartment-style housing: you’ll have more independence, with a private room, an in-unit kitchen and bathrooms shared only with your unit-mates.

Community Support & Residential Curriculum
All residents have a Resident Assistant or a Community Manager. The RA or CM is a student staff member who is an expert on campus resources and trained in conflict resolution, community building, crisis response and more.
Residential Education provides an intentional experience for all residents using our residential curriculum. This curriculum shapes how RAs and CMs spend their time and promotes the student learning and community development we strive to create in our communities. Learn more about the residential curriculum here.
Safety
Campus safety in our residential communities depends upon resident cooperation, staff supervision and University Police assistance. Here are a few of the safety features we use:
➡️ ID Card Door Access — Exterior doors of each residence hall require ID card access; only those who live in the building can swipe in.
➡️ University Police — USF police are headquartered on campus and dedicated to campus safety and support.
➡️ Blue Light Emergency Phones — Placed strategically throughout campus, these phones provide prompt assistance to anyone in need.
Service Desks and On-Call Assistance
Service desks are ready to assist residents with their needs. From lost keys to last-minute printing, we have your back! If you have a maintenance issue, 24-hour, on-call emergency maintenance is always available. If you need immediate assistance, student Resident Assistants and professional Residence Life Coordinators are available and on-call to help.
