The Moody College of Communication is home to multiple nationally celebrated departments, including the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations and the Department of Radio-Television-Film, which boasts many Emmy and Academy Award-nominated alumni. The G. B. Dealey Center for New Media, named after the journalism legend and founder of The Dallas Morning News, provides interactive classrooms and award-winning architecture, while housing the KUT and KUTX Public Radio Studios for Austin's NPR station and the Austin Music Experience.
