Collegiate professors work closely with Residential Life staff in their college/community to create activities and programming that make connections between students’ living and learning experiences. Vice Provost for Academic Enrichment, Steve Ortiz, oversees many programs at Binghatmon University, including the collegiate professors. Known as "CP Steve" to many students, Ortiz previously held the role of College-in-the-Woods Collegiate Professor. He continues to provide a strong role model for all collegiate professors and remains focused on making programs at Binghamton "student centered".
