North Green

The North Green and Amphitheater are located in the heart of campus, near the Library Bridge and Reflection Pond. Both areas serve as popular outdoor spaces for gatherings and events, and students can often be seen studying or relaxing on the Amphitheater steps on warm, sunny days. Nearby academic buildings host a variety of core curriculum classes in English, mathematics, social sciences and foreign languages.

➗ Martin Hall

Martin Hall houses the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, the Graduate School, the Pam Hendrix Center for Education Abroad, and a wide arrangement of classroom space.

🗳️ Brackett Hall

Brackett Hall is home to the Department of Political Science, Department of Psychology, and the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice. It also houses the Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center.

The Gantt Center is committed to creating diverse learning environments that enhance the intercultural competence of our students. The center supports and advocates for the needs of all students, challenges students to think critically about themselves and their communities, provides engaging experiential learning opportunities, and empowers students to be positive change agents.

Named after the first and second African American students to enroll at Clemson in 1963 who later married, the Harvey and Lucinda Gantt Multicultural Center strives to create an inclusive campus climate by hosting International Festivals, LGBTQ Programs, MLK Celebrations, Multicultural Programs, and other presentations and outreach initiatives.

🌎 Hardin Hall

The Department of History and Geography is located in Hardin Hall, the oldest academic building on Clemson's campus. Thanks to massive restoration completed on the building in 2002, Hardin Hall features some of the most innovative classroom technology for interactive teaching and learning.

🌼 The Carillon Gardens

The Carillon Gardens, gift of the Golden Anniversary Class of 1943, and historic bell, gift of the class of 1939, were completed in 1993. Dedicated as a tribute to the entire class and those who lost their lives during World War II, the Gardens feature a lush grassy area that is a perfect space for studying outdoors or spending time with friends.

🏟️ Amphitheater

Below the Carillon Gardens and North Green is the Outdoor Theater. At the heart of campus and nestled between the Gardens, Reflection Pond and Cooper Library, the Theater is the perfect venue for any outdoor event. The amphitheater is also a popular spot for students studying outdoors and hosts the Clemson University Tiger Band's pregame concert on Saturdays in the fall.
