⭐ Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center, located in Student Government Association and Multicultural Suites in Montgomery Student Center, were recently renovated with fresh interior furnishing and decorations and now include a student-designed mural as the focal point. The new mural beautifully reflects Converse’s diverse student body with colorful digital portraits and the message, “Community Starts with Unity.”

⭐ Events & Information Desk

Located in the lobby of the Montgomery Student Center, the events and information desk features a plasma screen that continuously provides campus information and serves as a resource hub for student events and activities.

⭐ Office of Student Government Association (SGA)

Student self-governance is an essential element of the converse community. As a member of SGA, every student has the opportunity to voice their concerns to members of the administration, collaborate to effectively confront challenges, and put innovative ideas into practice for the betterment of the student body.

🥗🌯 Freshens Cafe

Centrally located in the Montgomery Student Center, Freshens is the perfect complement for college life. This fast, convenient dining option offers fresh smoothies and salads, toasted wraps, grilled flatbreads, and rice bowls.

📬 Mail Room

The Converse University mail room operates under the Business Office, providing a full array of postal services including daily pick-up and delivery services of the U.S. Mail, inter-campus, and inter-agency mail to more than 500 residential students and 200 faculty and staff personnel.

⭐ Gibbs Chapel

At Converse, we believe nurturing your spiritual life is an integral part of the student experience. Gibbs Chapel, made possible by a gift from Spartanburg philanthropist Jimmy Gibbs in honor of his wife Marsha, has a capacity of 125 people and serves as a central location for worship, prayer and meditation.

💻 Commuter Lounge

Also known as the Day Student Lounge, this area is a place for commuting students to eat lunch, rest, hang out, and study throughout the day.

👕 Campus Book Store

Shop Converse University apparel, textbooks, merchandise and gifts at the Bookstore in Montgomery Student Center.

The Office of Student Development and Success is readily available to help meet student needs ranging from health to academic assistance through comprehensive programs including career development, first generation support, and student accessibility resources. Located in Montgomery Student Center, we are dedicated to the well-being of every Converse student.

The Office of Student Success provides a one-stop location for students looking for resources and help as they strive to achieve their academic goals. It offers tutoring, academic accommodations, special programs and events, and one-on-one consultation.
