King-Shaw Hall

King-Shaw Hall, part of Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR School), is one of the many grand buildings near the intersection of Tower Road and Garden Avenue.

⭐ School of Industrial and Labor Relations

The Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) prepares students to be leaders in industry, government, law, nonprofit and academia. Through interdisciplinary programs that focus on work, employment and labor, ILR students explore critical issues affecting society through the workplace. ILR graduates go on to be human resources and organizational design professionals, labor union leaders, attorneys, policy experts and more across multiple industries and sectors.

The ILR School reaches across New York state with offices in Manhattan’s historic General Electric building at 570 Lexington Avenue and in the Market Arcade in downtown Buffalo. This statewide presence provides space for student learning, collaborative research, pre-professional opportunities and public engagement activities.
