Florida State University

The plaza in front of the building is an iconic spot on campus. Originally, the iron archway served as the main entrance to our campus and was a gift from the classes of 1916 and 1918. The Westcott Fountain in the middle was also a gift from the classes of 1915 and 1917. Since its installation, the fountain has been a symbol of Florida State’s proud heritage and pays homage to those who came before.
