Harvey Mudd College offers a variety of academic resources and support programs including:
- One-on-one meetings with an academic dean for personalized support
-Workshops on time management strategies, study techniques, balancing academic and personal responsibilities, and other skills for student success
-Academic Excellence Tutors for academic Core courses and concepts
-Writing Center peer consultants
-Accessible education and academic accommodations for students with disabilities in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

⭐ Division of Student Affairs
Mission:
The Division of Student Affairs serves as co-educators in support of the mission of Harvey Mudd College while cultivating student’s life skills. Through collaboration and partnerships, we foster an inclusive community while creating innovative programs that provide leadership and developmental opportunities. We prepare students for their futures beyond HMC as scholars and global citizens who impact their communities in significant ways.
Vision:
Student Affairs at HMC will be a leading voice in providing transformative student learning experiences.
Foci:
Experiential Learning: We provide resources and opportunities for students to foster resilience, exercise accountability, and engage in community.
Inclusive Communities: We foster a welcoming environment by educating across identities and celebrating communities through awareness, allyship, and action.
Leadership Development: We provide opportunities that support and increase awareness of diverse leadership styles through involvement, collaboration, and cultivation of strengths for transformational change.
Wellbeing and Holistic Development: We engage students to learn, understand, and practice the 9 dimensions of wellness to strive for a balanced sense of self.

⭐ Campus Life
At the Division of Student Affairs (DSA), we are committed to educating our students to be ethical and caring leaders. We envision a campus that nurtures and develops the whole person. The Office of Campus Life (OCL) fulfills these values by enhancing the overall co-curricular experience of students through the development, exposure and participation in programs and activities. Our OCL staff strives to improve student cooperation and leadership, while preparing students to be responsible advocates and citizens by complementing the institutions academic programs.
On Campus:
Harvey Mudd hosts a full range of activities, including student government, clubs and organizations, recreation, athletics and community service.
Many of these programs are coordinated through Office of Campus Life.
The DOS Muchachos (Student Activities Planning team) plans and organizes events for the entire campus
The Committee for Activities Planning (CAP) of ASHMC organizes non-dorm-based events, usually off-campus
The Social Committee of ASHMC, Mudd’s student government, handles on-campus parties.
On Campus:

We seek to improve campus climate by positively impacting our campus community through the facilitation of a shared learning experience that engages our campus in dialogue, challenge barriers, build collaborative relationships, and provide educational opportunities. We strive to raise awareness about critical issues of inclusion and equity, we seek to foster a community of allies, and we aim to empower our community to take action on the issues that matter to them, guided by a social justice framework. This enables our campus community to explore all dimensions of diversity and the intersections of identity.
