Louie’s offers a menu different from what you will find in Gander Dining Hall. This location is open for lunch and dinner, including extra-late hours on the weekends.
⭐ Diversity & Inclusion
The Office of Diversity & Inclusion advises 16 social and cultural awareness organizations within Student Involvement. They focus on developing inclusive programming for the campus community and encourage students to interact with and learn about their own and different cultures.
D&I Recognition
Maryville University was the 2018 recipient of the Corporate Diversity Award, presented by the St. Louis American Foundation. Maryville also received the 2019 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.
Multicultural Scholars Program
Our Multicultural Scholars Program is a full credit-bearing program. Participants will receive 8 credits that focus on DEI & social justice education. Student interested in participating in the Multicultural Scholars Program can apply for the program when applying to Maryville University.
D&I Programs
Maryville is offering two new programs through our Office of Diversity & Inclusion. The first is a new inclusive institute for any student who wants social justice and leadership training. The second is a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Student Advisory Committee to reassure student concerns and voices are heard regarding social justice issues. This department also offered 54 presentations for the 2020-2021 school year that focused on DEI, social justice training and development, and Safe Zone LGBTQIA+ training.
⭐ LJ's
Fashioned after a sports grill, LJ's is a great spot for students to hang out on campus! There are 19 large screen TVs, arcade games, and plenty of seating. Head here to attend a watch party or take part in a karaoke night!
⭐ M-Store
The M-Store is the place to find all things Maryville! Grab a new apparel item or stop by to pick up some quick snacks.
Louie's Market
Louie's market carries a good selection of grab-and-go food, including great options for students to keep in the residence halls. Students can use their dining dollars/meal plans to purchase food from this market.
Apple Store & MiTech Bar
Maryville's new on-campus MiTech Bar will not only allow students to purchase Apple branded products without leaving campus, but the area will also feature a Genius Bar with Apple Certified Technicians.
General Services
Students can have packages mailed to them on campus and will pick these up from General Services. Students will be notified when they receive mail and can pick it up at their convenience. We also have a 24/7 package pickup location located just around the corner from the M-Store.
⭐ Atrium
The Donius University Center Atrium is home to many events on campus. It is also a great place to find out what is going on on campus! Students paint the windows to promote their organization's events throughout the year.
✨ Center for Student Engagement:
This area of the Center for Student Engagement (CSE) in the Donius University Center (DUC) houses over 140 student organizations, anything ranging from club and intramural sports to academic program groups. Can’t find an organization right for you? Just find three friends and an advisor and you can start your own!
