Weatherby Chapel

At MNU, our faith is lived out within our campus community. Weekly chapel services each Tuesday are the heart of our campus, with students, faculty and staff worshipping together.

In addition, students can participate in a number of student-led small group studies during each semester.

We believe community serves as the hands and feet of God in the world. For this reason, students can also participate in one of MNU's designated weekly ministries. Students select a ministry that fits their interests and passions. Opportunities include Lego Club, eating lunch with local elementary students, and dropping off backpack meals.

Our campus chaplain also has his office in Weatherby, along with two undergraduate student chaplains. Together, they are responsible for organizing our small group ministry and providing spiritual support to our students.

Pioneer Trek, our mission trip program, is designed to curate experiential opportunities, linked to travel, learning, and service. It represents our role in the global Church, connecting people and opportunities, offering a stronger connection between Sunday and the work week, and helps us meet the Great Commission.

Mission trips have included teaching music in Ecuador, MNU nursing students providing care in Guatemala, and construction projects in Puerto Rico.

Chapel services are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 AM. Tuesday chapels include the entire campus community and are held at College Church of the Nazarene, while Thursday chapels are student-led and held at the Bell Center.

Each month, we hold a worship night called Kingdom Come.
