At Middle Georgia State University (MGA), our men's and women's basketball programs have a proud tradition of excellence both on and off the court. Our teams compete in the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) and are known for their competitive spirit, teamwork, and dedication to the game. Morris Gymnasium is the primary home for both the men's and women's basketball teams. It is also used for other activities including indoor soccer, volleyball, and badminton.

MGA is currently a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and our athletics are growing – we were recently approved to begin transitioning to Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Whether you’re a spectator cheering on your peers or one of our student-athletes, you can catch a game, match, or meet at either our Cochran or Macon campus (depending on the sport).
