Each student's journey starts at the Admission Welcome Center. Visitors to the College will know they are in the right place when they see our charming building overlooking the beautiful St. Mary’s River.
The aptly named sunroom is where Admission staff give information session presentations to visitors.
Visitors are invited to make themselves at home in the Lobby of the Admission Welcome Center. Feel free to relax on our patio and take in some fresh air!

Schaefer Hall houses the biology, biochemistry, computer science, marine science, math, and physics departments.
The Campus Center is the hub of student life at SMCM. This is a great place to catch a movie, attend a lecture or take advantage of one of the many events organized by the Office of Student Activities. On the first floor of the Campus Center is the campus store and daily grind, our campus cafe and convenience store. Also on the first floor is the package center, student mailboxes, and Cole Cinema, a 156 seat theater.
