Quarry Plaza is the unofficial "center of campus" at UC Santa Cruz. Though not geographically central, it is located within the middle of the our horseshoe-shaped residential college structure. Here you will find services such as Bay Tree Bookstore, Ethnic Resource Centers, Disability Resource Center, and support for student government and groups on campus. In fact, we have over 150 student groups including a cappella singing, video gaming, adventure clubs, and religious groups. This location is home to our Quarry Amphitheater, a 2,300 seat capacity, natural outdoor space for live concerts and gatherings. The plaza also houses popular Cafe Iveta and an Express store for your small grocery needs. Quarry Plaza will be your go to place for tabling events, meeting up with friends, or stocking up on supplies and Banana Slug gear.
