Central Library
Central Library is one of nine libraries in the Jean and Alexander Heard Library System — named after Vanderbilt’s fifth chancellor Alexander Heard. Together the libraries are home to more than 8-million items and special collections. This includes the world’s most extensive archive of TV news coverage as well as the global music archive. In Central Library, students have access to meeting spaces and a full-service café with drinks and healthy food options.

Immersion Vanderbilt
Immersion Vanderbilt calls for each undergraduate student to participate in an intensive learning experience that takes place in and beyond the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to pursue these experiences along four different pathways: civic and professional, creative expression, international, or research. Immersion Vanderbilt allows students to explore their passions and interests, transforming their ideas into action that makes a difference in the world.
