Evansdale Crossing
The Evansdale Crossing is the student union for the Evansdale area of campus. Head to the main floor for a great peek at some of our dining options in addition to a Barnes and Noble bookstore (get your gear!). For a better look at the academic portion of the Evansdale area, head to the 5th floor and across the PRT platform!

Campus Transportation Options
🚉 Campus Transportation Options
WVU offers 2 main forms of transportation to help students access the 3 different areas of campus. This includes our PRT monorail system and our Mountain Line Transit Authority Bus System.
Engineering PRT Station
Originally a demonstration project and the first large-scale automated guideway transit system in the U.S., WVU's Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) is an automated people mover that connects the three areas of the WVU Morgantown campus and the Morgantown central business district. The PRT consists of a fleet of 69 electronically powered, rubber-tired vehicles that travel on 8.7 miles of dedicated guideway between five stations. The Engineering PRT Station serves the academic portion of the Evansdale Area of campus.
Mountain Line Transit Authority
WVU Students, Faculty and Staff can ride any local Mountain Line bus by swiping a valid WVU I.D. when boarding. Grey Line is the exception as it travels to Pittsburgh daily, serving as an airport shuttle. Buses run routes through the three areas of campus, as well as to different shopping centers throughout Morgantown.
Off-Campus Apartment Shuttles
Several non-WVU apartment complexes provide shuttle services for their residents and make stops on campus.
