An expanded CCA

🏙️ An expanded CCA

In fall 2024, we opened the doors to our campus expansion, designed by Studio Gang. The expansion provides 82,305 more square footage for craft, creativity, collaboration, and community to thrive. Students have access to bigger shops and studios, new galleries, and outdoor maker yards, garden areas, and beautiful views of the city.

State-of-the-art studios

From an industrial size KUKA arm robot in the Digital Craft Lab to a dedicated spray booth room, all the tools you need to bring your ideas to life are here.

Outdoor maker yards

Feel free to spread out and make art of any scale or size in our outdoor maker yards — and enjoy fresh air and good weather while you’re at it. These spots are also a cool place to experiment with new ideas or get work done on group projects.

Shared green spaces

Whether you’re catching up with friends and faculty or catching up on reading assignments, the shared green spaces are a place for peace and quiet while surrounded by beautiful views of the city. Soon, this area will also host natural dye garden to be used for textiles and print media. 🌱
