The Tinkham Veale University Center is the literal and figurative heart of campus. Located in the center of our campus, it’s where students go to enjoy meals, meet up with friends, find several university resources and participate in student organizations.

LGBT Center
CWRU has a vibrant and diverse LGBTQIA+ student body, who have found CWRU to be a campus in which they can thrive both academically, socially and personally. The university proudly holds a 4.5/5 star ranking on the Campus Pride Index and is constantly working to create an even more welcoming and inclusive campus for our LGBTQIA+ students.
There are a multitude of ways to be involved in LGBTQIA+ life on campus, from simply visiting the LGBT Center to study or socialize, to participating in our peer mentor program, “Queer Peers,” to taking part in our annual Drag Ball, which raises money for a local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit.

Flora Stone Mather Center for Women
The Flora Stone Mather Center is a community space and a social innovator empowering women and advancing gender equity through research-informed action.
The Mather Center is a space to gather, build community and raise consciousness. Several student groups are advised, funded or affiliated with Mather Center, including the Feminist Collective at CWRU and Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER).

International Student Services
International Student Services (ISS) at Case Western Reserve works to ensure students from around the globe enjoy a quality educational experience—and that our campus community learns and benefits from their experiences.
ISS assists students with immigration matters, intercultural exchange opportunities, making connections to CWRU resources and supporting international students in understanding the social and academic culture at CWRU and in the U.S.

University Diversity Collaborative
CWRU's Undergraduate Diversity Collaborative (UDC) is an umbrella organization that aims to support organizations that advocate for the advancement of diversity and inclusion at Case Western Reserve, celebrating eight pillars of diversity: ethnicity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability, age, gender, religion and race.
The UDC serves an advocating body for diversity groups, a platform for voicing student diversity concerns, and a resource for organizations in regards to diversity programming. Related groups include African American Society, Asian American Alliance, CWRU Unite for Reproductive and Gender Equity, First CWRU (first-generation student organization), La Alianza (Latinx group), Middle Eastern Cultural Association and more.
