Latin American Student Organization (L.A.S.O.) of Central Connecticut State University is a volunteer student organization comprised of various members representing different communities and backgrounds.
We provide social, educational, and cultural experiences for the benefit of the university and its surrounding communities. L.A.S.O. seeks to enhance Central's campus, its surrounding communities, and its members through planning, promoting, and programming events, that represent the Latino heritage.
It is our mission to spread awareness and educate our students on the variety of issues facing the Latino community today. L.A.S.O. is not Latin-exclusive, membership is open to the entire student body of Central.
