Willard-DiLoreto Hall

Willard-DiLoreto is our one-stop shop on campus. On the first floor, students will find our Career Development Office, our Wellness Center, and our Card Office. The second floor features the Bursar’s Office, the Registrar’s Office, the Financial Aid Office, and the Accessibility Office. The third floor is where students will find our Writing Lab as well as The Learning Center. Students who need one-on-one help in a subject or work better within a group tutoring session will be able to get homework help here. Above all, it is home to the Carol A. Ammon College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences.

⭐ Career Development Office

The Career Development Office provides students and alumni with resources and opportunities which assists in the development and implementation of career plans and goals. We help students and alumni achieve career readiness with 1-on-1 Career Coaching, Résumé/Cover Letter Critiques, Internship, Co-op, and Job Search Strategies, Interview Preparation and Practice, Career Development Workshops, Networking with Employers, and Career Fairs.

🏫 College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

The Carol A. Ammon College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences offers programs leading to the bachelor of arts degree, bachelor of science degree, and bachelor of fine arts degree. These programs are designed to provide a broad liberal education; the subject matter background for specific careers, including teaching; and the preparation for graduate work in a number of academic fields and professions, including law and medicine.

💰 Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office’s mission is to assist students with reducing financial barriers that limit their access to higher education at Central Connecticut State University. Our mission is accomplished by administering Federal, State, and Institutional funds equitably and ethically while providing efficient and effective service to our aid applicants and their families.

🚀 Explore Central

The Explore Central office is the place for incoming students who are in the process of determining the right academic path to follow at Central. The mission of Explore Central is to advise students who are undecided about choosing an academic major. The goals of the office are to assist students in assessing their strengths, interests, and skills, exploring potential academic majors, coordinating an academic plan of study, relaying academic requirements, and declaring an academic major by 30-45 credits.

Student Accessibility Services are committed to providing an accessible campus environment for all students. Central Connecticut State University is committed to making the necessary and reasonable modifications of programs, services, and facilities to provide qualified students with the opportunities necessary to pursue their educational objectives without fear of discrimination.

👨‍💻 The Learning Center

The Learning Center (TLC) can assist with academic coaching, tutoring, study skills, and classroom presentations. TLC is located in Willard-DiLoretto Hall and has virtual appointments available.

📝 The Writing Center

At Central's Writing Center, we offer free, one-on-one tutoring to the Central community. In our sessions, we provide resources, strategies, and techniques for writing across disciplines and genres.
