Prior Performing Arts Center

The Prior Performing Arts Center is the creative hub of campus, home to the College's music, theater and dance programs, and the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Art Gallery. An academic building and leading-edge performance space, the center offers two theaters as well as a multimedia lab for digital music creation, sound and video editing, and film, and lighting and set design.

The center is also home to production spaces, like the scene shop, costume shop, and recording, lighting and set design studios. The center showcases the College's belief that the arts are a fundamental part of a liberal arts education.

⭐ What's 'The Beehive'?

The heart of the building, the Beehive is a playground for study and performance, encouraging collaboration via flexible work spaces and multipurpose rehearsal and performance areas. It also features the O’Connor Family Café

🎭 Cantor Art Gallery

For nearly four decades, the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Gallery has promoted and supported the intellectual and cultural life of the College through its exhibitions and acquisitions, both historical and contemporary. Now located in the Prior Performing Art Center, it features exhibition space, archival storage for works of art in the permanent collection, a space for reviewing works in a seminar setting, and a workroom for tools and supplies.
