Kuhn Hall

Kuhn Hall is home to the Department of Economics, Accounting & Business. Two departments from the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences are also housed in Kuhn Hall: the Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Child and Family Studies, Politics, and Psychology) and the Department of Humanities and Cultures (English, German Studies, History, Individualized Major, Philosophy, and Hispanic Studies).

Kuhn Hall is a shining example of Converse’s commitment to sustainability and modern instructional technology. Built in 1968 and renovated in 2009, it is where you will find the Nisbet Honors Program, Campus Technology, and 17 “smart” classrooms.

The extensive archives include the complete vascular plant collection of Henry William Ravenel's (1814-1887), one of the foremost botanists of 19th century.

⭐ Physics Lab

The physics lab allows students to explore collaborative activities and to use technology and innovative tools for rapid collection, graphing and analysis of data. The space is designed to be flexible, allowing professors and students to rearrange work stations in order to carry out large experiments.
