⭐ Multicultural Center

The Multicultural Center, located in Student Government Association and Multicultural Suites in Montgomery Student Center, were recently renovated with fresh interior furnishing and decorations and now include a student-designed mural as the focal point. The new mural beautifully reflects Converse’s diverse student body with colorful digital portraits and the message, “Community Starts with Unity.”

🩰 Dance Studios

The Dance Studios in Montgomery Student Center play host to undergraduate students in the Dance major and minor, as well as students of all ages in the Lawson Academy of the Arts for individual mentorship, collaborative choreographic processes, and culturally engaged dance education.

⭐ Office of Student Government Association (SGA)

Student self-governance is an essential element of the converse community. As a member of SGA, every student has the opportunity to voice their concerns to members of the administration, collaborate to effectively confront challenges, and put innovative ideas into practice for the betterment of the student body.

🥗🌯 Freshens Cafe

Centrally located in the Montgomery Student Center, Freshens is the perfect complement for college life. This fast, convenient dining option offers fresh smoothies and salads, toasted wraps, grilled flatbreads, and rice bowls.

⭐ Swimming Pool

This 25-yard, six-lane pool is open for student, faculty and staff use during the semester, in addition to hosting Tarpon Sharks synchronized swimming shows and competitive swimming. Locker rooms and showers are available. Open Pool Hours are set and posted each semester on the pool door. Fun Fact: In the 1990’s, a scene was shot here for the Julia Roberts film, “Sleeping with the Enemy.”

📬 Mail Room

The Converse University mail room operates under the Business Office, providing a full array of postal services including daily pick-up and delivery services of the U.S. Mail, inter-campus, and inter-agency mail to more than 500 residential students and 200 faculty and staff personnel.

⭐ Gibbs Chapel

At Converse, we believe nurturing your spiritual life is an integral part of the student experience. Gibbs Chapel, made possible by a gift from Spartanburg philanthropist Jimmy Gibbs in honor of his wife Marsha, has a capacity of 125 people and serves as a central location for worship, prayer and meditation.

🥫 Valkyrie Supply

Valkyrie Supply is a basic needs hub that offers supplemental support to students, free of charge, in the form of food, hygiene items, and a Career Closet.
