Gaylord Hall

Gaylord is one of three campus buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the definition of "an oldie but a goodie." Once the women's dorm, it now houses many of our humanities and social sciences programs, including our student media groups.

The Doane Owl

📈 Business

“Business as usual” is a far cry from how we operate. With our liberal arts approach and experiential learning opportunities across four undergraduate programs and 11 minors, we equip students with the experience and confidence to stand out in their career as a creative and adaptable leader.

📖 Academics

Discovering your life’s passion is easier with options. Rooted in liberal arts, Doane offers 40 undergraduate majors and 9 graduate programs — all with opportunities to gain real-world experience.

⭐ Humanities and Social Sciences

Our intellectual and lively humanities and social sciences programs are a picture-perfect representation of a liberal arts education. You're challenged to think outside the box and consider other perspectives. You not only gain a foundational knowledge of subjects, but a confidence to lead and solve problems in our changing world.
