🔬 Research
As a land-grant, research university, NDSU has many research opportunities available to students. Students can work as research assistants in labs around campus or as participants in numerous studies. Research shapes students’ futures, generates new discoveries, and builds economic opportunity for the region. With more than $100 million in research expenditures annually, NDSU’s research frequently places it in lists of top 100 research universities.
👨🏾🦯 Disability Services
Located on the lower level of the main library, Disability Services serves students with all sorts of disabilities, including learning disabilities, health-related disabilities, and more. Disability Services ensures every student has access to the university environment. A completed application is not required, but meetings are strongly encouraged to accommodate your specific needs.
📚 Academic Support
As an NDSU student, you will have access to many academic support services. Peer tutoring is available at the ACE Tutoring Center or TRIO Student Support Services, writing assistance at the Center for Writers, math tutoring and practice help in the Math Emporium, and career and advising services with the Career and Advising Center.
Center for Writers
The Center for Writer provides free writing support to both undergraduate and graduate students, and faculty and staff. A key component of the Center is assisting writers in one-on-one sessions. It also provides writing courses, workshops, grant writing guidance, services for distance students, and a wealth of resources for writers and writing instructors.
Math Emporium
Located on the lower level of the main library, the Math Emporium provides tutoring and practice for college algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus.
