Alpha Tau Omega
The Epsilon Delta chapter of Alpha Tau Omega was founded at NDSU in 1931. Their signature philanthropy event is Freeze A Thon, which takes place during the coldest week of the year in February. Members of the chapter ask for spare change by the Loaf N Jug, and they donate all proceeds to Down Home. Down Home is a local organization in Fargo that helps families transition out of homelessness by providing furniture and other necessities that can be expensive to purchase. The interior of the ATO chapter house was completely renovated in 2020. All funds were raised by local alumni members.
👩🏽💻 Fraternities and Sororities
With 11 fraternities and 4 sororities, NDSU's Fraternity and Sorority Life gives you many opportunities to get involved on campus and in the community. Highlights of Fraternity and Sorority Life include philanthropy events such as the popular Mr. and Ms. NDSU competitions, the Greek Grill-Out at the beginning of the school year, and the many friendships formed in and between each organization.
