🎭️ Main Stage Theater
Plays, dance concerts, fashion shows, special events and the University Performance Series events take place in this hall with seating for more than 500 patrons and state-of-the-art production equipment, including computer consoles, LED lighting fixtures, a complete fly system.
🪑 Black Box Theatre
This is a flexible seating area for 100 people that features smaller, often student-led productions productions throughout the year.
🎨 Studio Spaces
The Art Department has studio labs for art foundations, painting, drawing, ceramics and photography as well as computer lab studios for graphic designers.
🩰 Dance Studios
Found on the fourth floor, Radford's main dance studio overlooks a scenic view of the surrounding mountains.
📐 Design Studios
Interior design students enjoy an impressive open learning space adjacent to a CAD lab. Fashion design and merchandising have their own lab spaces and the center boasts a “maker space” (including a light lab) for all students to utilize.
👩⚕️ Clinical Spaces
The Artis Center’s shared clinical spaces enable interprofessional work between the Waldron College of Health Sciences and the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Music therapy and speech-language therapy students share clinical spaces with observation rooms and the Radford University Brain Injury (RUBI) center provides comprehensive cognitive-communication speech language pathology services.
