🚉 The NJ Transit Riverline
The NJ Transit Riverline runs along Southern New Jersey and connects the cities of Camden and Trenton. For those living along the Riverline route, the train provides a convenient way for students to commute to campus. One-way tickets range from $1.80 to $2.55 depending on the duration of the trip. The Riverline has both northbound and southbound stops on Cooper Street that are mere minutes from the Campus Center. The Riverline also stops at the Walter Rand Transportation Center, which is a few minutes from the Rutgers–Camden Nursing and Science Building!
🚂 The PATCO Speed Line
The PATCO Speed Line connects areas of Camden County to Center City, Philadelphia. Within 30 minutes, students can take the Speed Line to Rutgers–Camden. Fares for the PATCO train average around $3.50. The closest PATCO stop to Rutgers–Camden is the City Hall station. This station is around a 5-7 minute walk away from the Campus Center and around a 3 minute walk to the Nursing and Science Building.
