Fun Fact
🛑 One-Stop Shop
Established in 1997, the Eagle Student Services Center is a one-stop shop for all enrollment-related services. Separated by three floors, the center has many unique offerings. Financial Aid counselors, Student Financial Services, the Registrar and ID Systems are all located on the first floor. Financial Aid counselors can assist students with finances concerning tuition and fees. The Registrar provides services related to registration, add/drops and transcript requests. Student Financial Services accepts tuition payments, manages fines on accounts, assists with short-term loans and provides UNT IDs to current students, faculty and staff. These UNT IDs serve as “keys to the campus” by providing access to residential halls, dining halls and meal plans, room reservations, free swag and more. It is important that members of the UNT community have their UNT ID handy at all times.
📝 Registrar
Located on the second floor is the Registrar’s Office, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, and a theater-style classroom that holds up to 300 students. The Registrar primarily assists with records for graduation, duplication requests, grade changes, student transcripts, reviews residency, enrollment verification and veteran’s affairs.
💸 Student Financial Aid and Scholarships
Student Financial Aid and Scholarships primarily focuses on financial aid, grants, work-study, loans and scholarship applications. Annually, this office awards about 75% of UNT’s student financial aid and scholarships. Broken down, that’s about $390 million in financial aid.
📋 Admissions
Home to undergraduate admissions, the third floor is the ideal place to visit if there are questions about admission requirements, the application process or general guidance for attending UNT. The staff can help answer questions about residency regarding in-state or out-of-state tuition, provide academic advising for transfer students, and counsel students on the ins and outs of the admission process.
🥳 Fun Fact
Even if you don’t live on campus, students can use financial aid and scholarships to purchase meal plans. Visit the second floor’s Student Financial Aid and Scholarships office for more details.
