College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities
Welcome to the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. The college's disciplines study people and develop imaginative, inquisitive, communicative, adaptable, and empathetic graduates. The college helps prepare students to demonstrate the competencies necessary to succeed in today's workplace and as lifetime learners. Students work collaboratively with engaging faculty in small class settings to hone their critical thinking, oral and written communication, project management and professional development.

⭐ Center for Fine and Performing Arts
The Center for Fine and Performing Arts (Building 82), or CFPA for short, is home to the Mainstage Theatre, Rolfs Music Hall, Studio Theatre, The Art Gallery (TAG), the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music, and the theatre and art departments.
The art department has indoor studios as well as outdoor spaces for sculpture and glass blowing.
The theatre department puts on several shows annually, with past productions including "Othello," Jane Austen's "Emma," and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." Attending theatre productions is free for students.
As an All-Steinway School, the Dr. Grier Williams School of Music uses Steinway pianos exclusively. Students can participate in various music performance ensembles, including the Argo Athletic Band, even if they are not music majors.
