Building I

The first floor of Building I is home to facilities and labs dedicated to providing hands-on training in several technical and trade programs, including automotive, CNC, robotics, welding, HVAC and more. On the second floor, you’ll find several key programs in electronics, architecture and engineering. The entire space is designed to provide students with a comprehensive, industry-relevant education, preparing them for successful careers in their respective fields.

Automated systems have become standard in many industries to provide reliable ways to program and control machine movements. Equipped with advanced Fanuc robots, the Robotics Lab offers a hands-on environment where students learn how to program, operate and maintain these cutting-edge machines.

🔥 Welding Lab

Welders work in a wide variety of industries – from automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, aerospace and many others. Our welding lab features modern welding stations, advanced machines, robotic welding systems and high-tech simulators. Students learn from instructors with real-world experience and develop skills in a variety of welding techniques.

🚗 Automotive Bay

In this immersive training space, WCTC automotive students hone their skills using the latest vehicles, components and state-of-the-art equipment available. Our ASE-accredited programs are focused on developing highly professional, competent automotive technicians.

🌡️ HVAC Lab

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are critical in residential, commercial and industrial settings, and this field is one of the fastest-growing skilled trades. This lab offers a practical environment for students to learn to safely install, maintain and service HVAC equipment.

⚙️ Tool and Die Lab

A tool and die maker's job is to produce parts within specific tolerances – which requires skill, patience and accuracy. In our Tool and Die lab, you'll use state-of-the-art machinery to develop your skills in precision work as you learn to make molds and dies. There is good reason our students are some of the area's most highly sought-after by employers!

This lab students in architectural drafting and interior design with an immersive and interactive learning experience. With advanced VR technology, students can visualize and explore their designs in a realistic 3D environment, making it easier to identify potential issues and make informed design decisions.
