Residential Life

Roommates

🏠 Stone-Davis

Gothic in style, but not in feel. Loved for its circular dining hall and courtyard with views of Lake Waban.

🛏️ Residential Life

15+ halls, each with their own culture and feel. Tower is stately and majestic, with sweeping views of campus and Lake Waban; Beebe is all worn hardwood and pirate charm; Casa Cervantes is Spanish ‘lenguaje y cultura’ all day every day.

A few things of note: Halls house students of all class years. This is intentional. It means that the sophomore or junior down the hall can dish on their favorite professors or walk with you on your first day of class. Each hall is governed by a house president, a house council, and a team of Resident Assistants (RAs). They keep things fun, with social programming like weekly teas and finals treats. And lastly, all halls have a kitchen and several 24-hour living rooms, perfect for your average cram session or movie night.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Roommates

In your first year: Usually one, but maybe two or three. Sometimes chosen, but more often assigned based on compatibility. Always someone you can go to and grow with.

In your second, third, and fourth years, you’ll choose your roommates(s)–or whether you want a roommate at all. Seniors get first dibs on housing preferences, and it flows downward from there.
