Bill & Joan Alfond Main Street Commons

In 2018, Colby opened a new living and learning community in the heart of downtown Waterville that offers apartment-style housing for 200 Colby students, faculty, and staff who are deeply engaged in the community.

The Office of Civic Engagement is also in this building. It organizes our community outreach and volunteer programs. Over 60 percent of students volunteer while at Colby.
