Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center

Welcome to the Harold Alfond Athletics and Recreation Center. This $225 million-dollar, 350,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility opened in August 2020.

This space includes a 200-meter track, four full size tennis courts, new squash courts, and exceptional competition spaces for basketball, ice hockey, and other varsity, club, and intramural sports as well as the only Olympic-sized Myrtha pool in the Northeast.

Colby competes in the NESCAC, the New England Small College Athletic Conference. Colby's varsity athletics are Division III, with the exception of alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, and squash, which are Division I. Colby has 32 varsity athletics teams, 20 club sports teams, and numerous intramural opportunities.
