Hamilton's Promise
There is no one Hamilton student just as there is no one Hamilton experience, but the promise we make to all our students is the same - at Hamilton you can Study What You Love, Be Who You Are, and Find Your Future.
Admission and Financial Aid
Siuda House, the home of the Office of Admission and Financial Aid , serves as the College’s front door for prospective students. Here you’ll find campus tours, information sessions, and other ways to explore the Hamilton College community, including many virtual opportunities.
Hamilton has a well-earned reputation as a “school of opportunity” and is need-blind in its admission decisions. All of Hamilton’s financial aid is based on demonstrated financial need, and if you qualify for financial assistance and are admitted to Hamilton, we will meet your full demonstrated financial need for all four years. Our goal is to accept only the most talented and deserving students and then provide the financial aid that makes it possible for them to enroll.

Applying to Hamilton
Hamilton’s Admission Committee seeks candidates with intellectual curiosity, academic promise, and a diverse range of interests and backgrounds. Our goal is to admit the most able and promising mix of students who will learn from each other and contribute to the Hamilton community in meaningful ways.
To apply for admission, candidates must submit an application through either the Coalition for College or the Common Application. Eligible students may also apply through their QuestBridge National College Match application. All applications, no matter which format, are treated equally.
We have made important commitments to high school students graduating in 2022. We hope this information provides clarity and relief during an otherwise stressful time.
