⭐ About the SEC
Located in Allston is the Science and Engineering Complex (SEC), a massive campus that was recently constructed for the sole purpose of granting engineering students access to state of the art technology as well as a space in which they can innovate and thrive. Completed in 2020 and spanning 500,000 ft2, the SEC is filled with makerspaces, teaching labs, a library, unique classrooms, a cafe, and multiple common rooms meant to bolster student interaction and a sense of community. If one’s concentration falls within the category of Bioengineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, you can be sure that they will find themselves here at this beautiful campus at some point during their Harvard career. For ease of getting to this complex, there are shuttles that run throughout the day to transport students and faculty to and from the SEC. In addition, there are numerous bike racks outside the complex.
