⭐ Tercentenary Theatre
In the heart of Harvard Yard sits Tercentenary Theatre - a green expanse that spans from the steps of Widener Library to the steps of Memorial Church. This is a nostalgic place for Harvard graduates, as they begin their time here for the Convocation ceremony, and end their time at the Commencement exercises. This space is also home to many other outdoor events including Yardfest (a concert featuring popular artists each spring), field days, and alumni reunions.
⭐ Widener Library
Widener Library is one of the most well-known spaces on campus. Underneath Widener Library and parts of the Yard lie 55 miles of shelving that make up the “Stacks” - there are nearly 17 million volumes across 70 Harvard libraries, making Harvard the owner of the largest university library system. Librarians are incredibly helpful as students pursue research projects, helping them find the resources they need or ordering texts from any of the shared library networks. Widener is filled with beautiful study spaces for students to use throughout their time at Harvard.
