Courtright Memorial Library
The library conains approximately 250,000 volumes and over 500 study areas. Rooms are available on a first-come first serve basis and keys are kept at the first floor circulation desk.

Library Building Highlights

This facility is the home to the Academic Support Center, the Center for Teaching and Learning, the OtterBean Café (Starbucks coffee and on-the-go style food), a student lounge, classrooms and offices. The building was built in 1972 with a new entrance and additional classrooms added in 2005. The building has 60,653 square feet.
Library of Congress System
The library uses the Library of Congress System of organization, which means all books have letters and numbers and are arranged in alphabetical order. It also uses computers (OPAL) instead of card catalogs for periodical look-ups.

Academic Support Center
Located on the second floor. This is available for students who would like to seek help in all areas of academic study, especially in writing papers and mathematics classes.
Office of Disability Services
Disability Services at Otterbein University works closely with qualified students with disabilities and their faculty/staff to ensure equal access to an educational experience and campus life via services, accommodations, and advocacy.
OtterBean Café
The OtterBean Café offers specialty Starbucks coffee drinks, snacks, sandwiches, salads, juice, pop, and other quick order items to students. The OtterBean accepts Cardinal Dollars, cash or credit cards.
University Archives
The University Archive maintains the recorded history of Otterbein University, through documents, photographs, artifacts, and publications of the students, faculty, staff, administration, and alumni of the University.
