🌳 Welcome to Johnson Park
A historic landmark to the city of Camden, Johnson Park is now home to the Digital Studies Center and the Writing and Design lab which come together to form the Digital Commons at Rutgers–Camden. Within Johnson Park, students can find one of only five existing Peter Pan statues created by Sir George Frampton. Eldridge R. Johnson gifted the statue to the children of Camden in addition to the building and the park!
💻️ The Digital Commons
Located within Johnson Park, the Digital Commons is home to the Digital Studies Center and our very own Writing and Design Lab. The Digital Studies Center is a research center that focuses on a wide range of digital media research projects. The Center also offers an interdisciplinary major and minor for undergraduate students at Rutgers–Camden. The Writing and Design Lab offers consultations and support to all undergraduate students working on writing, media, and document design projects.
