McKenna Carillon Tower

The clock tower is located in the center of our campus: the plaza. The plaza is a central hub for our campus, where students pass through to get to and from class and where many campus events are held throughout the year.

The Heart of Campus

🎯 The Heart of Campus

As the figurative and literal heart of our campus, the McKenna Carillon Tower represents the foundation of your time here at SAU — participating in the traditions that we uphold; for developing logical reason in the classroom; putting Christ at the center of our learning; and expanding our perspectives and experiences.

SAU Concept

Underneath the clocktower, you will find the SAU Concept. At Spring Arbor University, the Concept is the foundation for our mission as a university. We center our academics on Jesus Christ as the perspective for learning, and we prepare our students through our liberal arts curriculum to become lifelong learners and critical participants in the contemporary world.

Traditions

The plaza is where you start your journey as a freshman at Parting at the Plaza during welcome weekend and end your time at SAU at Cutting of the Ivy the night before graduation.
