Women's Residence Halls

For our female students, your first year at Spring Arbor University will be spent living in either Gainey Hall or Lowell Hall. But our residence halls are much more than a housing placement.

Residence halls at SAU are more than just a living space for our students. They’re a place to build community. Each hall has resident assistants (RA's) — students just like you — that are meant to not only help with any questions about your living space, but they’re there to help you and build relationships with you and your floor.

👯‍♀️ Gainey Hall

Gainey Hall is a newer residence hall comprising 3 floors separated by 2 wings each with an RA on each wing. Gainey has community bathrooms, laundry rooms, a large shared kitchen, and open lobby areas, making them the perfect place to study or hang out.

🏠 Lowell Hall

Lowell Hall is the longest-standing resident hall on campus and is filled with a lively atmosphere, consisting of 4 wings with 2-3 floors per wing and an RA in each wing. Lowell has community bathrooms, laundry rooms, a large shared kitchen, and open lobby areas, making them the perfect place to study or hang out.

Other Housing Opportunities

Available after your first year, villages are suite-style dorms, with each suite containing two large rooms which are connected by a shared bathroom. A step up from villages are the Koinonia houses, which give students the opportunity to experience "apartment-style" living while still having the convenience of being on campus.
