Discovery Hall
Discovery Hall, along with connecting Innovation Hall, form the university's state-of-the-art STEM center, one of our newest facilities. Laboratories and classrooms within the center bring students and teaching scientists together from disciplines cross the university for learning and, yes, discovery and innovation in robotics, data science, biomedical engineering, nanoparticle development and much more.

⭐ Academic Programs
The University of Vermont offers a peak academic experience that translates to student success. With seven undergraduate colleges and schools, a graduate college, a college of medicine, an honors college, continuing education and extension programs, UVM's academic programs offer breadth, depth and variety -- and on an intimate scale. UVM is a close-knit community of scholars, scientists and artists (average undergraduate class size: 32), but its intimate culture is invigorated by the resources of a premier research university.
Schools and Colleges
There's a lot to explore in UVM's academic ecosystem. With over 100 majors and almost 100 more opportunities for advanced degrees, our fields of study are broad and the intellectual pools are deep. And the best part is that ideas flow in all directions — English majors study economics, engineering majors study ethics. Because knowing why and where to build a bridge is as important as how. Explore our majors, minors and graduate degrees.
