💡 About Interdisciplinary BFA

CCA’s Interdisciplinary BFA is made for students who don’t fit into a single category—artists, designers, and creatives eager to experiment and do their own thing. CCA is the perfect place to make this happen! Here, you get access to more than 60 shops and studios, exposure to so many modes of making, and can experiment across CCA’s wide selection of analog and digital tools.

DIY curriculum

With mentorship, students create their own personalized curriculum, combining areas of study across Design and Fine Arts. You can choose from programs such as Animation, Ceramics, Communication Design, Fashion Design, Film, Furniture, Illustration, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Interior Design, Jewelry and Metal Arts, Painting and Drawing, Photography, Printmedia, Sculpture, and Textiles.

⚒️ Open studio access

Want your sculpture to light up and make sounds? Hit up the Hybrid Lab. Interested in mixing natural dyes to your textile creations? You can do it in the Dye Lab. How about building a chair made of just  fog and lasers? It’s all possible in the Furniture benchroom and Digital Fabrication Studio.

🤖 About the Craft & Creative Technologies concentration

From handbuilding with clay to 3D printing, you can combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on craftsmanship from day one! With a Craft & Creative Technologies concentration, explore how making and technology intersect.
