📃 About the Printmedia concentration
Through the Printmedia concentration in the Interdisciplinary BFA program, you’ll explore printmedia in theory and practice, researching its history while getting hands-on with etching, letterpress, bookbinding, and digital processes. Collaboration and social engagement are part of the program, pushing you to create art that matters. Alum Chelsea Wong (BFA Printmaking 2010) expresses joy as an “act of resistance” in her paintings and murals. As you expand your interests into independent projects, you can draw inspiration from our city’s many museums, galleries, alternative art spaces, publishers, and more.
